Internal Committees

 Standing Resolution Committees

If you want to get involved in the real change that can come about through BCCPAC then join one of the Standing Resolution Committees. The eight committees carry the responsibility for the status of resolutions and submit recommendations to the Board to identify ways to achieve active resolutions. The volunteer commitment varies depending on the committee and its share of resolutions. The committees are:

  • Student Safety
  • Support Services and Funding
  • Curriculum
  • Employee Services
  • Formal Roles of Parents
  • Provincial and Federal Policy and Processes
  • Special Education

Resolutions Committee

The Resolutions Committee reviews all resolutions submitted by members to ensure they fit the necessary criteria for resolutions. It also proposes changes to the resolutions so they will fit the necessary criteria contacts the member who has submitted a resolution to see if the amended resolution is acceptable to them.

Resolutions Appeals Committee

The Resolution Appeals Committee review any appeals by members whose resolution has been declined by the Resolutions Committee. Appeals are made via a special resolutions appeal form available from the BCCPAC office contact info@bccpac.bc.ca.
